What is Aluminum ?

Aluminum is a silvery-white metal, the 13 element in the periodic table. One surprising fact about aluminum is that it's the most wide spread metal on Earth, making up more than 8% of the Earth's core mass. It's also the third most common chemical element on our planet after oxygen and silicon.

Aluminum Sheet Making Process

After employing carbon-based negative and positive cathodes in an electrolysis process, the alumina is transformed into a liquid condition and CO2 is produced. After that, this liquid aluminum is poured into various shapes to form sheet ingots or slabs, which are subsequently utilized to make aluminum sheets and plates.

WHAT ARE 5 USES OF ALUMINUM

  • Window frames.
  • Consumer electronics.
  • Household and industrial appliances.
  •  Aircraft components.
  • Spacecraft components.

Working with Aluminum

I had great experience working with aluminum sheet made a rose with help of it. First i was not using gloves so i had lot of cuts on my hand after that my mentor told me use gloves then first i made lines on sheet using marker then cut the sheet in shape of leaf petals with cutter and folded the sheet in shape of flower. After that i use the spot welding method to join the life petals to make flower.
